With a Team of 15, the business can assist with all sales and property management needs. The Directors, Tim and Justine Burke, have strong ties to the local community having played sport for some of the local teams and also growing up in the area and attending school in Weston Creek. Tim and Justine have many friends and clients with children at St Jude’s, including their Godson who attended the ELC and has now started Kindergarten at St Jude’s, so they are thrilled to have the opportunity to sponsor the fete and continue the relationship with local community groups in Weston Creek.

Anthony from the Garden Guard has been sponsoring the fete since 2018 and have had children attend the school since 2013. His daughter attends St Jude's in yr 4.

Fox and Bow in Farrer have been the buzzing heart of Farrer shops since they opened in 2014. They’ve established themselves as ‘the local’ for Farrer residents, but also a cafe worth a trip for people in surrounding suburbs and further afield. They have recently expanded their territory with a second location opening at Red Hill Shops.

Owners Alex and Nicole have created a positive community atmosphere and hosts special occasion dinners and seasonal events, like their late summer passata making day and trivia nights.

David lives in Farrer with his wife and three children. He attended local schools then went on to graduate from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons). Access to quality education in our region is one of David’s passions along with:

• fairness, safety and equal pay and conditions for all workers;
• promoting the value of community and public service; and
• making the case for greater integrity in government.

David was proud to be elected to the House of Representatives as the first Federal Member for the new seat of Bean in 2019 and believes that Together we can build a better future for all across the Bean electorate.
